Position Details
Title: Young Scientist (1 position)
Project: “Setting up of model walnut processing unit in district Anantnag of Jammu and Kashmir” sponsored by Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG 2.0) initiative of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA), Government of India.
Nature: The position is purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualifications
- M.Tech./M.Sc. in Food Technology / M.Tech Processing and Food Engineering with NET or Ph.D. in Food Technology / Ph.D. in Processing and Food Engineering.
- At graduation level, candidates must have a 4-year degree in B.Sc Agriculture and allied subjects or B.Tech Food Technology or Agricultural Engineering/B.Sc Food Technology.
Emoluments
- ₹55,000 + 18% HRA (House Rent Allowance)
Age Limit: Below 35 years (Relaxable up to 40 years for SC/ST and women).
