The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education Announcement
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has made an important announcement for students seeking fresh admission for the academic session 2024-25. This notification is targeted at candidates wishing to enroll in private high and higher secondary schools that have been approved or conditionally approved by the Affiliation Committee as of July 1, 2024.
Offline Submission Eligibility
Candidates can submit their Eligibility Forms for the following examinations:
- Secondary School Examination (Class 10)
- Higher Secondary Part-1 (Class 11)
- Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12)
- Migration Forms for Secondary School Examination (Class 10) & Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12)
Important Dates and Fee Schedule
Category I: Inter School Migration (within JKBOSE affiliated schools)
- Submission of offline Inter School Migration and Eligibility Forms
- Normal Fee: From August 5, 2024 to August 19, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 75: From August 20, 2024 to August 29, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 85: From August 30, 2024 to September 9, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 100: From September 10, 2024 to September 19, 2024
Category II: Eligibility in case of migration from other recognized Boards to JKBOSE
- Normal Fee:
- Eligibility Fee: Rs. 640
- Registration Fee: Rs. 640
- Combined Fee: Rs. 1,280
- Submission Period: From August 5, 2024 to August 19, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 75:
- Submission Period: From August 20, 2024 to August 29, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 85:
- Submission Period: From August 30, 2024 to September 9, 2024
- Late Fee of Rs. 100:
- Submission Period: From September 10, 2024 to September 19, 2024
Further Details and Physical Verification
The physical verification of documents will commence on August 5, 2024.
For detailed guidelines and further instructions, students and schools are advised to visit the official JKBOSE website at www.jkbose.nic.in. In case the last date for submission falls on a holiday or bank holiday, the next working day shall be considered the final date for submission of forms.
