Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, located in Kakryal, Katra, J&K – 182320, has announced spot round admissions for various postgraduate (PG) programs for the academic year 2024-2025.
Date and Venue
The spot round admissions will take place on August 12, 2024, at the Conference Hall, School of Business, SMVDU Campus. Candidates are required to report in person from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

- MA (English, Sanskrit (Vedic Studies), Economics, Philosophy, Hindi, Dogri)

Admission Eligibility
Spot round admission is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, RBA, RALC, PWD, CDP, CPF, SPT, and Open Category candidates based on merit in CAT/CMAT/CUET-PG 2024 for MBA programs, and GATE/CUET (PG-2024) for other PG programs. For non-CUET candidates, an entrance examination will be conducted by SMVDU on the same day.

Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents in original, along with one copy of self-attested documents.
Fee Details and Application Information
Candidates who have already submitted their application forms along with the registration fee for the academic year 2024-2025 need not pay the application fee again and can appear for the selection process. The selected candidates are required to pay the Seat Confirmation Fees at the time of the spot round of admission (offline/online).
